Alex will be acting as Co-captain this year for the team and hopes to bring his experience in autonomous robotics, computer vision, and embedded system design to the table in an effort to train team members and lead the team to success in this year's competition. Alex has extensive interests in robotic controls and artificial intelligence and upon graduation plans to pursue a career in these combined fields.
Alex has completed 2 co-ops at the Architecture/MEP Firm Luckett & Farley and competed in the IEEE SoutheastCon Hardware Competition in 2016. Alex’s goal is to make Redbird Robotics a nationally competitive robotics team at the University of Louisville. His interests include Robotic Controls and Business Management.
